Department of State Visa Bulletin for October 2019 and Adjustment of Status Filing Charts from the Visa Bulletin

The U.S. Department of State earlier this month published their updated monthly Visa Bulletin for October 2019. The Bulletin, which can be seen in full here on the https://travel.state.gov website, details the availability of immigrant numbers during October for: “Final Action Dates” and “Dates for Filing Applications” and provides useful reference information for applicants, immigration attorneys and paralegals alike. The charts indicate when immigrant visa applicants should be notified to assemble and submit their required documentation to the National Visa Center. The article also states that unless applicants are otherwise informed by the USCIS website then the charts published on the travel.state.gov website should be used as the final action dates for adjusting immigration status by filing an application. Please note that the link to the relevant area of the UCSIS website provided in the bulletin for October 2019 is actually incorrect, and if you would like to check the Final Action Dates information against that which is published by the Department of Homeland Security, then you should visit: https://www.uscis.gov/visabulletininfo
